Portable engine for boats, dinghies and sailing boats
A lightweight four-stroke Tohatsu engine that one person can easily carry and set up. Suitable for a fishing boat, a yacht tender and as an auxiliary engine for a sailing boat — it runs quietly and economically.

Multi-function tiller handle
The stop switch, front gear shift lever, friction adjustment screw and tilt switch (on PT models) are combined in one handle.

A carrying handle is fitted at the front and can easily be tucked away when not in use.
Fuel and water separator
A high-quality, easy-to-use separator is standard on all EFI 20, 15 and 9.9 hp engines. No tools are needed to service it.
Improved centre of gravity
The heavy components — the crankshaft and driveshaft — have been moved 30 mm forward, reducing the lifting weight by 26 %. The engine is much easier to lift.
Compact fuel system
The vapour separator tank (VST) combines the high-pressure fuel pump, regulator and fuel cooler — all in one unit, making maintenance simpler.
