Tuned 4-2-1 exhaust
The symmetrical 4-2-1 exhaust manifold increases torque and acceleration. This solution is a first on the market and is used only in Tohatsu engines.
Exceptional torque
Thanks to the 4-2-1 tuned exhaust, the MFS75/90/100/115 has the highest torque in its class: it gets on the plane faster and reaches top speed more quickly.
Durability and optimal weight
The heavier parts — the cylinder head, exhaust manifold, engine base, crankcase and lower unit — have each been optimised for strength and lower weight.
Excellent fuel economy
The MFS75/90/100/115 uses an SOHC-4V layout that is unique in its class, whereas competitors opt for SOHC-2V or DOHC-4V. The spark plugs are positioned in the centre of the combustion chamber, so combustion is more even.
Quiet operation
An equal-length intake manifold, 4-2-1 tuned exhaust and a precisely tuned ECU give the engine a pleasant, unobtrusive sound.
Handling
Precisely tuned ECU programming improves acceleration when you need it — the boat gets onto the plane faster.
Multifunction handle with PTT switch at the end
Ideal for commercial use: a large ergonomic gear lever at the front and a longer throttle grip with a tilt and trim (PTT) switch at the end.
TOCS 4.3-inch display (accessory)
The TOCS display connects to the CAN bus and communicates with the engine ECU: it shows engine data, error codes and warnings.
