Once again, Parker Poland introduces important innovations into small pleasure boats. To be more specific, the new PARKER 770 WEEKEND is a further step forward in the evolution of the ever-popular PARKER 660 weekend range. And this development is very significant. The 770 Weekend is fitted with an inboard Yanmar 4BY2 145 HP diesel engine. It has a 200 L fuel tank to give impressive range andreliability.

The PARKER 770 is 0.5 m longer than the 660 and has a beam of 2.5 m. What’s more it’s even faster, reaching an impressive 25 knots; which is appreciably quicker than many comparable boats fitted with a drive shaft.

In the PARKER 770 Weekend, the shaft is located in a drive assembly compartment; and is therefore better protected against impact from underwater obstacles. The draught is also significantly reduced, making the boat safer in shallow water. The drive shaft runs through a V transmission with a trolling valve mode. This will be a big advantage to sea fishermen; as this feature is not available with sterndrive or outboard engines.

The PARKER 770 Weekend is fitted with a 60 cm stern platform that incorporates a robust protective aft rubbing strake. The platform also has an inspection hatch that opens to give access to the drive unit. Otherwise, the PARKER 770 Weekend offers all the amenities found on the 660: namely a separate WC compartment with hand wash basin and a functional galley area with refrigerator, cooker and sink. There are also four berths; a double in the forecabin and another derived from adapting the dining table area. And there’s a shower, seawater supply pump and plenty of stowage areas.
