SKIPPER TRAINING
Practical skipper training
More practice. More confidence. More freedom on the water.
A skipper’s licence gives you the right to operate a motorboat, but confidence on the water comes with practice. Training focuses on what actually happens on board: manoeuvring, boat handling, mooring, navigation and decision-making in different situations.

FIVE BOATS IN A WEEK
You feel how a boat changes
During a week-long practical course you get to try five motorboats of different size and technical character. That not only builds hands-on skill — it shows how handling changes with the size of the boat, its construction, its engines and its other technical properties.
You learn not just to steer a boat but to read how it behaves in the water. Practice sessions give a lot of time to harbour manoeuvring, mooring and leaving the berth, handling in changing conditions and safe decision-making. That experience is what makes you calmer and surer the day you take a boat out on your own.
ON BOARD
What the week is spent on
-
Harbour manoeuvring
Turning, holding position and moving in tight marina spaces.
-
Mooring and leaving the berth
Coming alongside and getting away — with lines, crew and wind.
-
Handling in changing conditions
How the same boat behaves as wind, waves and load change.
-
Safe decision-making
Reading the situation and choosing the calm option in time.
PRACTICE ABROAD
New waters, harbours and boating culture
“Boat Time” training does not happen in one place. Practical skipper courses are run in Croatia, Spain, Malta, Greece and other countries. So the course becomes not only a way to sharpen your skills, but also a way to get to know new waters, harbours and boating culture.

MORE THAN A COURSE
A community of skippers
“Boat Time” brings together people who share a love of boating, travel and life by the water. Here you meet both skippers taking their first independent steps and those who already have miles behind them.
The connection does not end when the course does. Skippers stay in touch, plan trips together, share experience and quite often keep holidaying and sailing together afterwards. One week of practice can be the beginning of new friendships and shared journeys.
ONE WEEK
A week that gives you more confidence on the water
“Boat Time” training is for those who want not only to hold a skipper’s licence, but to handle a motorboat confidently in real conditions.
Different boats, a week of intensive practice, new countries, experienced skippers and a community of like-minded people — all of it gives you a solid base for the adventures ahead.
More practice. More confidence. More freedom on the water.
