Anchor rope, 40 m long.
The braided synthetic rope does not absorb water, does not fluff up and stays flexible even when wet. It is resistant to chafing against the side of the boat and to UV rays, so it does not crack when kept in the sun.
In practice, you need at least 4–5 times more anchor rope than the depth — only then does the anchor dig in rather than bounce along the bottom. We recommend adding a short length of chain to the anchor: it presses the end of the shank against the bottom and makes the hold considerably firmer.
