Technology built in, hassle left out
SuperPack NG has an integrated battery management system (BMS), so it can be installed directly, without additional components.
One battery, double the power
A discharge current of up to 2C lets it continuously deliver twice as much as its rating indicates — for loads that would normally require two batteries.
Self-heating in the cold
Integrated heating allows the battery to be charged even at sub-zero temperatures, where an ordinary lithium battery would no longer work.
Victron Lithium SuperPack LiFePO4 12.8V – 20Ah batteries may look expensive at first glance compared with lead-acid batteries, but on closer inspection the picture changes! Normally you would not discharge a standard lead-acid battery below 50 % of its capacity. With Victron lithium-ion batteries you can safely discharge down to 80 % DOD. Combined with much faster charging, this means you can usually cut the Ah capacity by about half! Most standard lead-acid batteries have a cycle life of 300–600 cycles, whereas the Victron Lithium SuperPack battery can approach 5000 cycles, making it a cost-effective solution in the long run. The Victron SuperPack battery is designed to be easy to install, with no additional parts required. The BMS and safety switch are integrated inside.
