Control options
The MFS25/30D tiller handle has a stop switch, four-step trolling speed control from 750 to 1050 rpm and a forward–neutral–reverse gear lever.
Height-adjustable multifunction handle
The handle height can be set in three positions, and in four more with an optional accessory.
17.5 A charging system
Electric-start models feature a class-leading 17.5 A charging system: stronger magnets and a water-cooled rectifier.
Optimal mounting points
The upper and lower mounts are moved forward of the driveshaft axis, so vibration is damped more effectively.
Low-drag gearcase
The new torpedo-shaped gearcase reduces water resistance and improves running — from getting onto the plane to top speed.
New flywheel
The newly shaped flywheel creates airflow inside the cowling: internal ventilation improves and the temperature of the electronics drops.
All-new intake manifold
The manifold has been redesigned in polymer and is now 48 % lighter.
Additional water intake
The MFS25/30D(W) has an additional water intake in the gearcase — cooling works reliably even in shallow water.
Oil filter tray
A new tray under the oil filter makes changing it easier, reduces contamination and spares the environment.
