The highest-thrust automatic Ulterra
The Ulterra 112 DSC is designed for heavier boats and windy days when an 80 lb class motor can no longer hold position. Lowering and raising are automatic, and the sonar transducer is built in.
Who this model suits best.
For heavier boats
Higher thrust is needed for longer, wider and equipment-laden boats.
For wind and waves
When there's a crosswind, reserve thrust lets “Spot-Lock” hold the spot instead of drifting.
For long fishing days
A 36 V system achieves the same thrust with a lower current, so the batteries drain more slowly.
Automatic lowering and raising
The motor lowers itself and returns to the transport position — you especially notice this with a heavy 112 lb unit.
Built-in Dual Spectrum CHIRP sonar
The transducer is integrated into the lower unit: 2D imaging without an additional transducer on the transom.
Three batteries, 36 V
This motor requires a 36 V circuit — plan the space and weight distribution on board in advance.
