Manual fuel pump (primer bulb) for an outboard engine.
Used to prime fuel from the tank before starting the engine — this way the fuel reaches the carburettor or injection system and the engine starts first time.
The body is petrol-resistant, with a non-return valve inside that prevents fuel from flowing back into the tank. Fitted in the fuel hose line, with the arrow pointing towards the engine.
